Pokemon adventures and Christmas tales.

Recently me and a few of my friends started playing Pokemon Tabletop Adventuress (as i sure a bunch of you know) and i started bloging the games here, well we recently started again so iv deleted the old posts and started a whole new blog Here called Pokemon Tabletop Adventures with Gloomy.
Its got some of the same cheraters as befor and some new ones to (i'm thinking of doing some sort of charecter development style post at some point) and takes place in a DM created region of Aerouanta where all gens of pokemon are technicaly available to find, Dragon types live on a floating island above one of the majour cities and the airship Victini fly's around the region thoughout the year.
There are 17 pokemon Gyms in the region, one for every type, 2 pokemon challenges every fortnight and pokemon contests to take part in. 50 trainers set out form Inevita town in teams of 4 or 5.
Currently our GM has 2 teams written up and i cant wait to start challenging them!


In christmas news today iv been makeing papper chains from wrapping papper to hang in my front room, i only need 2 more chains for it to look half decent and more if i can be bothered/have the time,

Its a Pokemon Christmas!

My Tree is up and decorated! as you can see its a pokemon tree due to the fact that i could only find my tinsle, metal santa's and snow men but either way it still looks good.
There are presents under t now as well wraped in blue and silver to match the tinsel, i still have about 5 more presents to get/arrive in the post and as they get here they will be wrapped as well tho this weekend im off to my mothers so the presents for my family will be off to mums so they can open them on christmas (im off to Dans mum's this year) i just hope i can find something more for my dad befor i get there...I still need a few bits for the presents iv made like a fram for a drawing for some friends and possably some fimo and pretty string so i can make my Boyfriends mum's present.My christmas has allready been full of makeing and will prolly still be full of makeing right up until the time comes to go to Norfolk!


On the dolly front nothing has been happening... right now i dont feel at all inspired to take photos or sew for them... which is a shame coz theres sooo many cute outfits i could be makeing from my japannese sewing book. Oh well.But in other toy news i got my Nerf guns a few weeks ago! Nerf Mavrick's are sooo brilliant! i plan to customise them for my steampunk outfit but so far iv not bought any materials for it or even sanded them yet! hopefully after christmas.Also if you love games be they Tabletop or console check out my boyfriends forum The Gamers Archive a place to discuss games and share your stories!

Recent Toings and froings

Let me see... where should i begin?

Last month was Noah and Tarrens Birthday and in 2weeks and 2 days it will be Finley's... so recently iv been a little sad what with my family not seeing then any more (Long Story) and the day of Zoe's death being on Noahs Birthday. but i think not seeing the kids any more has made my family chill out a little... theres no more pressure from His Wankership.

Happy Birthday boys, i know you wont ever see this but i suppose its a good thing to just say something regardless?

Anyway recently it was also the 2011 Teignmouth carnival ^_^ prolly not the most amazing thing in the world but i do enjoy it and took around 300 photos of the procession ad the vairious bands that were playing

We started the week with lots of drinks at Cellars and Dicey's, I told my sister that i had sort mode and thus i got some silly poses from her ^_^ Scot (her BF in the BG) wasnt really into it at first but i did get one or two ;)

Scot apparently go's cross eyed when he drinks.

On Procession day we found a good spot near the pub (tho a little dog didnt like being there at all he barked for the whole thing lol) I found that pretty much anyone will do what the voice behind the camra tells them to especaily if it's a bit profession looking.. i think the only people i couldnt get to do things were a Jack sparrow impersonator, who was sooo very convinceing , and a pirate on some long bouncy leg things.
Little kids and Grown ups were mostly all to happy to join in

On to the Music festivale day i went out with only Dan this time as a friend of my dad was haveing a party (which i went to later), my sister had a mahoooosive hang over and here Scot was i didnt have a clue.

At the den we watched a band whoes name i didnt catch, found our friend Grant who was talking to a girl (he dosent normally do this sort of thing) and i got to stoke a skunk! it didnt smell and was quite soft and had really long claws ^_^ there was also a pair (a mated pair at that) of albino pythons that i also got to stroke. Unfortunatly they charged for photos wearhter they took them or you did which i thought was a bit off but i suppose it raises money for the carnival and the charity the exotic animal people were working for.


I went to see Vivid Sky really but i also watched Moriaty who were very cool and both band's let me get a photo of them

The first time i saw these guys they were 14 and singing classic rock!

Ginger guys have beautiful hair ^_^

I do love going to Teignmouth Carnival tho each year the parade gets smaller and smaller... but the Bands get bigger and its always a good week to be out and about at the pub ^_^
As im righting this Okehamptons Party in the park is happening, its not a carnivale (the procession isnt till October) but the music has so far been good, i particularly like First Requiem so if you get the chance check them and Vividsky and Moriarty out ^_^
All three bands are definatly bands i would love th hear play some more.

Recent Creativity

I got a random Commision! i was asked to make a red dress with black lace and a corset topand bows, after much disscussion i came up with a concept sketch which was sooooooo bad but the lady liked it and so i got to work!

I made the dress in about a day of almost none stop work (i hate to start something and not finesh it) and thus this dress that i really really like was created!

Eeee!

I Love setting Gromets! its my fave part of dresses like this! im not to keen on makeing bows form ribbon but i made them none the less and i do think this is possably one of the prettyest dresses ive made in a while and i may make something similar (tho prolly not in red) soon ^_^

Iv also been trying to find patterns for my LPS Blythe... and so far its been well 'sew scraps together and there you go!' which is not really what im looking for... any thing i do find also tends to tell you to make it out of felt so you dont need seemaloances but felt is so chunky and its not pretty either... for stuffies its fine, for eyes on hats its fine! but for a dress? i think not...

I did manage to make my hat pattern smaller tho! and i made this

Totoroly cute! 

I also made a white one that iv not taken a pic of yet... its made from tshirt material and has wire in its rabbit ears so they can bend in place ^_^

Im thinking of makeing another Pullip sized one, fineshing my people sized one and doing a photo, i wonder if thats stupid tho?

New Blog new start!

So iv got very bored of LJ... its annoying and very daft so yeah.

I also think i need somewhere to document the things iv made with propper explanations, somewhere for the dolly photos to be displayed and what not so here we are. Yes i pretty much am copying my friend Nuwandalice she's brilliant.

Shall i start? yeah prolly...

Firstly i think i should talk alittle about the mini meet i had with Witchit!

Witchit came up to my flat here in Oke and we had some fun looking through the Do Not Want box of dolly clothes... some of that stuff is truely terable, Witchit ended up takeing away one thing i think. ^_^

Next we went off in the car to the pixie place where a guy watched us so no pics were taken sadly... its never cool to have an angery man watching you lol, so of we went to Bagers Halt

I took some cute Pics of Emily and a few of Witchits April-may while Witchit got some of my Sixx, for most of the pics we were both in the middle of the river which was very fun! 

once we were fineshed at Badgers halt we took a trip to New Bridge where i was hopeing the ice cream man would be... unfortunatly he wasnt, apparently they are there in winter, summer and Spring but not that bit just between winter and spring... coz you know its to cold for ice creame and to hot for hot dogs... ah well i got some itnteresting photos none the less

After thay we went back to the flat to have some dinner that Dan made (yummy hunter's chicken!) while we watchs a dvd. After that it was time for Witchit to go home :( the day went soooooo fast! and i really cant wait to do it again!
